Buffet Crampon R13 A Clarinet, Serial #95827 – 1960's

This is a nice Buffet Crampon R13 A clarinet from the mid 1960's, serial number 95827. The instrument was professionally maintained by the last owner and is in great shape. It was just freshly overhauled in our shop and is now in perfect playing condition. The professional service included a dissemble, cleaning and oiling of the body joints. Its key work was finely regulated and outfitted with a new set of Valentino master pads as well as all new corks and felts. 

 

Both the body joints and original key work is in fantastic condition. There is some modest play wear but no signs of major past repair. The original bell is also in great shape. This clarinet ships with a newer Moennig 65MM R13 A barrel. All of the tone holes are in great shape as well as the tenon areas. At some point in the past the clarinet was most likely owned by a school or other institution. If you look you can see an additional serial number engraved on the side of one of the keys.
