This is a lightly used, wonderful Buffet Paris R13 grenadilla wood clarinet in A, serial number 685708. This clarinet is in great shape and will come freshly set up and ready to go for a long time to come.

As you can see in the photos, this instrument shows light typical wear from honest use, but has been well cared for. The wood body shows no signs of past cracks or crack repairs (no pins) and the nickel plated keywork has just minor surface wear on some of the touch points. Pads are still in great shape, but even so, we're going to replace all pads in the upper joint with cork, so that they'll last a long time for its next owner. We'll also replace all key adjustment material and perform a fresh regulation. It will come to you feeling and playing like a brand new horn.

This clarinet is a great match if you own a recent vintage R13 Bb. It plays with a darker tone and strong center, with a lot of depth in its sound. Very easy blowing and comfortable to play, while retaining a solid focus. Ships in its original Buffet double case with original bell and original 65mm barrel.
